- Broadsword
- Term usually stands for Medieval swords which is, in fact, wrong. This misnomer comes from Victorian collectors of the early 19th century.
- Glaive
- A broad-bladed, single-edged polearm. Mostly an 18” butcher-knife on a 6 - 7’ pole.
- Lame
- A narrow strip or plate of steel, sometimes used in armour to provide articulation.

- Body defense made from big plates.
