A shallow flute in the middle of one or both sides of a blade. Lightens the sword and makes it stronger and somewhat flexible. Swords have none, one, or several fullers.

Bardiche
Alsocalled berdiche. A pollaxe with a long, slightly curved blade, principally used in north-eastern Europe.
Chausses
Leggings made from mail when a part of armor.
Edge
The sharp, cutting part of a blade. Swords are single or double-edged.
Scabbard
Sheath for a sword or dagger. Usually made of thin wood, lined with felt or sheepskin, and covered in leather.
