Quilted piece of clothing worn under armor, made to devour strokes.
Besagew
Large, sliding roundel, protecting joints on a human body.
Hauberk
Long (up to knees or longer) coat of mail with originally long sleeves and later sleeves ending in mail mittens.
Lucerne hammer
A staff weapon with a hammer-head balanced by a fluke, popular with Swiss infantry in both the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
