- Cod-piece
- Fabric covering for the groin, latterly padded. Its counterpart in armour could be either of mail or, more usually, of plate.
- Pommel nut
- Also pommel bolt or tang nut. Capstan rivet sometimes included in pommels.
- Sabre
- A sword with a curved, single-edged blade (probably originally derived from Eastern scimitars).
- Scabbard
- Sheath for a sword or dagger. Usually made of thin wood, lined with felt or sheepskin, and covered in leather.
