- Arming Cap
- Quilted cap worn beneath the helmet.
- Bracer
- Early fourteenth century form of defence for the lower arm; also a term for an archer's arm guard to protect the forearm from the bowstring.
- Foible
- Special (Renaissance) term for the upper, weaker part of a blade. Does most of the attacking for its speed and nimbleness.
- Scabbard
- Sheath for a sword or dagger. Usually made of thin wood, lined with felt or sheepskin, and covered in leather.
