- Arbalest
- Also crossbow. Consists of a bow attached to an arched stick. Is powerful, low-trajectoried weapon. Fires a bolt (a shorter arrow).

- Class of siege engines designed to throw spears and heavy bolts.

- Top-covering piece of clothing. Popular in tournaments where it presented the beholder’s coat of arms.

- Plain metal helmet with a wide brim.
