- Breastplate
- Plate armour protecttion for the front of the torso, to the waist. See also plackart.
- Mace
- Metal ball attached to a wooden handle. All steel in the later times. Often a symbol of power.
- Plackart
- Part of armor. Covers the wearer's lower rib and stomach area. Attached with straps which allows better flexibility.
- Waster
- Also bavin or cudgel. Wooden practice sword.
