- Blade
- The length of steel that forms a sword.
- Coronel
- Also cronel. Crown-shaped lance head used for jousts of peace.
- Glaive
- A broad-bladed, single-edged polearm. Mostly an 18” butcher-knife on a 6 - 7’ pole.
- Volant-piece
- An English term for the reinforcing brow-piece on a helmet such as the sallet.
