Knife in a sword-like form. Daggers came in many forms and in single or double-edged variations. Usually equipped with a pommel and guard and more complex hilts in the later times. Known in fourteenth century England as a misericorde.

Quilted and embellished coat-armor.
Waisted-grip
Specially shaped handle. Has somewhat wider middle and narrows towards the pommel.
Adarga
Parrying weapon consisting of a small bladed shield attached to a short spear.
Vervelles
Bronze, brass, or latten staples that attached to a bascinet to enable the leather cuff of an aventail to be secured to the helmet.
