- Barbut

- Plackart
- Part of armor. Covers the wearer's lower rib and stomach area. Attached with straps which allows better flexibility.
- Skull
- The part of a helmet covering the top, back and the sides of the head above the ears. It can also denote a simple metal cap.
- Tabard
- Similar to a surcoat. Made from front and back parts laced together. Could be tightened or left loose.
