- Coif
- Hood of fabric or mail worn under a helmet. By the twelfth century it often incorporated a ventail.
- Couter
- Also spelt cowter. Plate armor protecting the elbow.
- Glaive
- A broad-bladed, single-edged polearm. Mostly an 18” butcher-knife on a 6 - 7’ pole.
