- Cod-piece
- Fabric covering for the groin, latterly padded. Its counterpart in armour could be either of mail or, more usually, of plate.
- Harness
- A term used in preference to 'suit' when talking of a complete armour.
- Sights
- Also occularium. Part in the visor right infront of the wearer’s eyes.
- Spear
- Also volgue. Weapon with a long shaft, made for thrusting in the first place.
