- Hood of fabric or mail worn under a helmet. By the twelfth century it often incorporated a ventail.
- Hauberk
- Long (up to knees or longer) coat of mail with originally long sleeves and later sleeves ending in mail mittens.
- Haft
- Wooden part of a polearm.
- Abbasi
- Straight-bladed steel sword with a padded hilt; back of the blade was strengthened by supports; often highly decorated with gold inlay and gilt.
