- Brigandine
- Form of coat-of-plates with hundreds of small plates, partially covering each other. Mobile yet protective.
- Fauld
- Armour (usually composed of horizontal lames) attached to the bottom edge of a breastplate to protect the abdomen.

- Mace made of metal; head was shaped like that of an ox's and often had holes in the nostrils so that it whistled when swung.
