- Breastplate
- Plate armour protecttion for the front of the torso, to the waist. See also plackart.
- Hauberk
- Long (up to knees or longer) coat of mail with originally long sleeves and later sleeves ending in mail mittens.
- Helmet
- Armor protecting the head. Comes in many forms.
- Haubergeon
- Hauberk ending between crotch and the middle of the wearer’s thigh. Has a sharp dagger-like hem.
